    swing arm spools

Anyone use regular swingarm type stand?
Do you have spools? I have an '83 1100e and I don't want to drill the swingarm but would like the stand to be stable when I have the rear wheel off
    Thanks

I have a rear stand that uses "L" shaped brackets to capture the swingarm, instead of spools like the later model stuff.

I was thinking that. My stand doesn't have those. I might have to make a couple
      Thanks Ray

Those look well thought out with the spring and all. They show them out of stock. I think I'll fab up a pair with some 3/4" threaded rod and a couple heavy angle brackets from work.
          Thanks for the idea
