Info on mounting a sidecar to GS550T

Have a1981 GS550T, wonder if anyone has ever had a sidecar on GS550 ? What problems /mods needed. Just wondering how it worked out. Doug

Hope your passenger is light (or your engine is turbocharged).
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I have seen a few sidecars here on GSR, but not many. If you have not yet purchased the hack (sidecar), be aware that it should be sized to the bike. Too large a hack will really intrude on what little performance you have, too little a hack will make things a bit ... interesting.

It will also change the way you have to ride. Unless you have specific need for one, you might want to re-consider.
