Can anybody tell me the difference between the GS550E and GS550L??
Just picked up a 1980 Suzuki VIN TAG says GS550E but side cover says GS550L!!

As you can see there are quite a few differences. The L had leading axle front forks, stepped seat, chrome fenders, buckhorn handlebars, smaller teardrop fuel tank and shorter exhaust just to name a few.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg
