    Bolt Size Question

Does anyone know the size of the bolt on the front fork of my 82 850 GLZ? It seems to be missing.

It is part number 11 in the photo:

M8 x 50mm is the size of the bolt you need
    1978 GS1085.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

Did you know that the size of the hardware is encoded in the part number for most items?

The part number is 01107-08508. Look just after the hypen, you will see that it is an M8 x 50. Not sure if the last 8 is the type of bolt, the finish or the supplier.

If I recall correctly the 8 is the finish on the bolt.there was a thread here a while ago on that.
