    OIl Pump Question.

My bike is an 82 Katana 1100.
My question is where, and how easy/difficult is it to remove/install?

I've got the manual, tells me how to check clearances but I don't see where the thing is.

    Thanks

    It's behind the clutch hub.

Why do you want to mess with it? It's pretty much foolproof and unlikely to cause problems. Biggest concern is the clutch hub nut coming loose and the gears disconnecting from one another. Not exactly an oil pump problem.

      Thanks.

I won't be messing with it now.
I have the oil pan off, thought if it was in there, I'd have a look at it, oil pressure very low at idle.

Yes I know it is supposed to be low, but...
I believe I'll stick with my original fix, removal of oil pressure gauge.
