vacuum sync with carbtune
Hi. I try today do vacuum sync. I just make it worst. I don't know where to start . How to pull off vacuum in nr.3 ? Which carb I should adjust first? When is vacuum in one carb higher then I have to close butterfly? On GS650GL is the middle one screw under choke and throttle holder . It's difficult to access is there any special tool for adjusting?Last edited by Guest; 09-19-2015, 05:48 AM.Tags: None

20150919_102704.jpgYes I plug vacuum line from carb#2 and I use basscliff's site like bible. Also I know that carb #3 is master. Actually I think that carb #3 is on my bike is open by idle mixture knob while carb #1 #2 #4 is not open enough. what you think about this theory.
PS: how to screw that 8mm nut between carb #2 and #3 ?? Basskliff is using tool which I can't unleess I take off choke holderLast edited by Guest; 09-19-2015, 09:40 AM.

It is not that difficult to remove the "choke" holder, but there is a way to use a nut driver or socket on there that will not require it.
With the engine NOT RUNNING, turn the throttle about half way, use a long extension on your socket wrench or nut driver, reach down from where the back of the fuel tank would be to loosen the locknut.
The tricky part is after you get the vacuum levels set and you need to tighten that nut. Use your fingers to snug it down as much as you can, verify your vacuum levels, turn the engine off. Rotate the throttle again, tighten the nut with your wrench. Start the engine again to see if the vacuum levels have changed. You may go through these steps a few times or you might get lucky and have it good the first time.

Basically I first do a good bench sync. I then sync the #2 carb to #3. I then sync the #4 to #3 and then the #1 to #2. Some times you have to go a little back and forth to get them all synced.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

Try Wemoto there in the UK, but eBay should be quite helpful, do you have any Suzuki main dealers in your neck of the woods.
