Looking for glue to attach emblem

I purchased two fork covers from eBay to the other day. Only one has an emblem and I would like to remove it and place it on the other cover. It's easy to remove the emblem, but I'm sure of what type of glue to use to attach it to the other cover, any suggestions?

    3M weatherstrip adhesive.

It's a thin, double-sided tape found at most auto parts stores.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

From experience, make sure you get the 3M weatherstrip adhesive. Bought some a few years ago from another manufacturer and it is not the same at all.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

My first choice is the 3M double sided tape. It will stick forever. Second would be contact cement but it's hard to get both surfaces clean enough so the cement will stick.
