Oil Pressure Switch Oil Leak
Hey there! After searching through this forum a bit I decided to finally join and get some input on this problem. My bike appears to be leaking a bit from the oil pressure switch housing pretty decently as it begins to form a bit of a puddle once I start riding. Is this problem due to a bad gasket? If so, I was hoping someone could provide me with a link to a reliable place to buy one at. Also, is there anything I could do temporarily if I have to wait for shipping? I've been itching to ride this thing all year lol. Thanks for any help!Tags: None

It's an unlikely place to leak - have you checked the oil's not coming from the cam chain tensioner just above, a more common problem?79 GS1000S

I'm pretty positive that it's coming from the oil pressure switch housing. My bikes on the kickstand tilted to the left and the housing is to the right of the tensioner so I don't see how it could reach that. It's sort of pooling up around the space between the housing as well when I give it more gas.
