    Headlight 1978 GS1000C

I measured the hole to be 7" in the bracket. I got the bike with a fairing on it and took it off, was wondering what type of headlight will work for a 78 GS1000C. Any old 7" sealed bulb? Links would be extremely helpful. Also need front turn signals, dont know where exactly they mount to. And the rear turn signals stay on, do not blink. Do I need a new flasher? And where can I find it to replace it? Thanks in advance. (and sorry I work a lot of hours and dont have a lot of time to research this stuff)

You will need a little more than just a bulb if the trim ring and retainer ring are missing you will need those. As for the turn signals, the fronts should mount to the headlight bracket and they will not flash if the fronts are missing. Once you get them installed they should flash fine. At least that's how my 1978 GS750 worked. You can find parts diagrams at bikebandit.com

When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png
