Fuel / Vacuum Hose Diameters on '79 550 , quick disconnect worth it?

Have to replace the those soon, and about to order, but am currently not near my bike. Does any one know from the top of their head what the inner diameters are?

Also, I'm doing more and more various smaller tasks on the running bike which entails taking off the tank. Pulling and pushing the hoses on the petcock is a bit of a hassle, and since I'm still discovering stuff required to be done and stuff to order, I have to do this multiple times. So I'm considering getting a quick disconnect plug/valve for the fuel line.

    Your thoughts?

Use the correct Suzuki parts, the hoses slip on and off easily but they won't fall off. No clamps or other such idiocy required. Nothing is a quicker disconnect than that.
