    1982 GS 1100G transmission/shaft oil capacities

I can't seem to find the capacities for the transmission and final drive oil changes. Also, any recommendations on brands of oil? My Clymer manual isn't real clear on this subject.

    Thanks!

Did you look in a REAL service manual for the information? Basscliff has a tutorial too.

Regardless, it's not a whole lot of oil. Fill it until oil starts to spew out the fill level hole.

Any common 80W/90 or straight 90 weight gear oil will work.
