That's what I thought. I believe mine is for the larger end. I also have the tool for holding the flywheel for removing the nut if needed...

Sorry I didnt put year in. I should know better. Should be for an 82. Ive switched a lot around. I'll double check when I get home from work tonight. Ive asked once, but to be sure I'll ask again. I have a 82 1000 Kat rotor, stator and cover that will go into the 82 1100E motor. Is this a straight trade?

A Kat guy would know if the Kat rotors are little or big end? I only know they are lighter.

Cool flywheel holder I have 2 O.E.M. Suzuki part #'s and they both bent when I was trying to take the bolt off and torque them back on. They were very weak where the flat bar meets the half circle with the adjustable pins. I have since welded some 45 degree angles on them in that area. But yours looks way stronger by far. Now I use a rattle gun and heat getting the nuts off. Some people really believe in lots of Red Loctite.

If you look at the picture I posted you will see an aftermarket puller with retrofitted bolt. You should be able to read the drill and tap sizes for that hardened bolt. This makes a very strong tool without having to go full custom.
