    Calipers

    Anybody know what the thread size is on the banjo bolt that fits front calipers.
    1983 GS 650 gl

    1982 GS 850 gl

    1980 GS 550L

    1982 GS 650 G(KATANA)

          Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, lol. Overall diameter to the outside of the threads is 9.82mm bolt diameter minus threads is right at 8mm.

                Cheers its m10.I've put breaks back together working fine but forgot to put part no 7 from front calipers in its pad guide is it absolutely needed before I have to strip calipers again.

                  Threads are measured by the "major diameter", which is the outside diameter of the threads; you don't subtract the thread depth.
