79 Suzuki gs1000 sproket cover foam
I was taking the cover off my bike for the first time yesterday and found it had foam in it it was interesting I wonder why Suzuki did that never seen that before...I thought it was dirt and I digged alil out is that bad?Tags: None

You can dig the old out and refill it with that aerosol expanding foam stuff. Then hollow out the area for the chain and sprocket to set in.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

The stock foam is a soft polyurethane material. I'd leave it alone unless it's completely falling apart.Ed
