    Downward slanted foot pegs

Anyone else have this issue? It seems that my footpads are permanently slanted downward at the outside, and it makes it feel like my feet will slip off. It seems like the rubber bushings the foot pegs are mounted in are possibly worn out.
Anyone else dealt with this? Any fixes for it besides just ordering new bushings? Btw, it's a 1982 GS650L. Thanks!

A temporary fix is to pack out the inner end of the swivel with a strip of steel, where it butts up against the bracket. In the long term, you can either replace them with low mileage ones or take them off and fill the holes with weld and re-drill or simply weld thick washers onto the bracket and fit a new pin.
