PBlaster gasket remover
Maybe others have discovered this, but was an accidental find for me. I was removing the clutch cover on my '82 GS1100 to replace the springs. The factory must have used a lot of sealant on the gasket and I was having a bugger of a time removing it. I put some PBlaster on the locator pins with a cotton swab, in an attempt to remove them to get at the leftover gasket by the pins (they would not come out). After a few minutes, I noticed that the stuck on gasket around the locator pins came off a lot easier. So I spread the stuff on all of the stubborn gasket, and was able to get the rest of it off a lot more easily.
