Is this pedal bent, or maybe even the wrong part? I can't tell from the parts fiches.

Brake pedal question
The pedal for the rear brake on my GS750 seems a little off. The bump in the middle of the pedal arm doesn't directly hit the bolt (which as near as I can tell acts as a stop to prevent the pedal from rising too high) in the foot peg bracket. (Photo below) I suspect every now and then it slips past the head of the bolt, because when I try to use the rear brake sometimes I have to push hard until I feel a "clunk" to get the brake to engage.
