Parts catalogue for 81 GS650E? Not service manual

    Hi all,

Yes, i've used google and yes, I've searched the forums...I can find the service manual, but I was hoping to find an exploded view or parts catalogue for the 81 GS650E.

Can any of you fine members point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Welcome to the site.
I use the Ron Ayers site for schematics. There are others. Bike Bandit.
Shop our large selection of 1981 Suzuki GS650E OEM Parts, original equipment manufacturer parts and more online or call at 252-758-3084

I have a nephew in the west end of Ottawa and he is currently at 72 hours with no power after that mess on Friday.
    You make out okay?

Thanks Steve! Yes we are all good. The damage was a few hours east of us. We have some friends out that way and they're all pretty lucky. Could have been worse.

There are many online vendors that have parts fiche available. Steve Murdoch mentioned Ron Ayers and Bike Bandit. Ron Ayers does OK, but Bike Bandit has the second-most-expensive prices and they use their own parts numbering system, which is not compatible with OEM numbers. On the good side, they seem to be able to gets parts to you a bit quicker.

Another site that is commonly used is Parts Outlaw. Good prices, decent communication (most of the time) and flat-rate shipping charges. If you only get a couple of items, the shipping charge kinda sucks, but get a larger order and it looks rather attractive.

You need to know that virtually all of the online parts places will take about two weeks to get parts to you. They need to amass a minimum order to place an order with the Suzuki warehouse, it gets shipped to the vendor, who then has to re-pack it and send it to you.
