1100E tank on a 850G

I have done a little searching and can't seem to come up with an answer or measurements. I have a 1979 gs850g and I'm wondering if a tank from a 1981 GS 1100 e will fit? I like the look of that tank and since mine recently got creased I figured why not change things up a bit.

No, it mounts differently at the rear and you will have to clear the tunnel to fit. The '77-79 750E is a direct fit.
