    Although there are many of us here that can confirm that, there are a few that would argue otherwise.

    Not sure what they might have done differently, but those of us who say it does not work so well have observed that there is no color change. When I used one, the visible flame would become intermittent, then finally disappear, but never change color. When turning the mixture screw back out, the flame would start to appear (intermittently), then finally become steady. I set those carbs to the leanest possible setting that gave a steady flame.

    All that said, even though most of the bikes I work on have similar carbs, I am keeping my eye open for a deal on a Colortune, just to have it in the arsenal.

      That did it!! Re-routed the throttle cable slightly and BAM! No more rev ups when turning the handle bars!! Now when i give it a twist on the throttle it responds right away and then drops off right away, no more hanging throttle! How amazing what moving a cable route an inch can make!
