The part number I get (at least in the US; can't imagine why it would be any different in Ireland) is 57110-49510.
If you punch that number in on a Suzuki parts website, there are a bazillion cross-references.
Paste in the number and go through the listings on each of the "where used" links:
It appears to be used on or compatible with every GS (or almost every GS) from 1977 through 1983, so should be easy enough to find in any moto boneyard.
If you order a new one from Suzuki, it comes as an assembly with the grip molded on to the tube; you'll have to cut off the rubber grip to use something else.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
