Can someone confirm this is the tool I need

Time to check valves again .. they were fine last I checked but that was 4200 miles ago. I want to have the tool on hand should i need to do it.

I cant rightly remember but I am pretty sure the adjustment screw was Square and the locknut is 9mm. I have an 82 16v GS 750E.

This is the right one .. Right?

Or you can make one out of a square drive wood screw screwed into a piece of dowel, and a 9mm wrench.

here's another idea. You could grind a slot into something like this.

If I remember correctly the adjuster has a standard slot on it for a straight screwdriver not a square. The locknut I'm pretty sure is 9mm though.

If I didnt want to wait 6 weeks for delivery I might try them but ... I do love this from the ad !!

"All dimensions are measured by hand, there may be small deviations."

I just picture a guy holding up a ruler and squinting and going Hmmmmmm yea that looks about right!

Thanks everyone but I don't need a set. I just have the one bike. I just can't remember if the adjustment screw is square. I am trying to avoid taking the bike apart and then ordering the tool because then I will be down a week and it's my only way of getting around.

Just for anyone else that may come along

                  I did buy this tool
Motion Pro Tappet Adjuster (3mm Square with 9mm Socket)

                  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T6JO4EY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also bought a small set of Motion Pro Tappet feeler gauges.

I landed up only having one valve that was tight and that needed adjusting and all the others were in spec but man .. it was really nice having the right tools!! The last time I did the valve check about 4000 miles ago I used regular feeler gauges but the short bend on the Motion pro feelers gave me a big confidence boost. With the regular flat blades I felt " yea that is kinda maybe right" but with the short angles Motion pro feelers you know you are dead on.

The adjustment tool was a dream and worth the 18 bucks.

Just a word of caution on the feeler gauges, they are thin and will eventually tear apart, I know this.
