Roller Bearing Crank Oil Help
Hello my Suzuki gsx1150 have roller bearing crank. I read the correct weight are 10w40. I need to know if I can put another type of viscosity. ThanksTags: None

The factory service manual has a chart showing acceptable oils. A lot of members here use 15W-40 diesel engine oil with good results.

To measure is to know.

Many of us also use a synthetic 5w-40 diesel oil with similarly good results.
Viscosity selection should be based on anticipated temperatures you will encounter until the next oil change.
