The stock chain on a 750 is a 630 and the stock sprocket is 15-tooth. The chain in the link is a 530, which is a popular upgrade, but the front sprocket should be 18- tooth to maintain the same diameter. Installing a 15-tooth 530 sprocket will likely have the chain dragging on the swingarm.
The stock rear sprocket is a 41-tooth 630. To maintain the same diameter and drive ratio, the equivalent 530 sprocket would have 49 teeth.

I went to the signature and saw a 750, did not bother to read what he was actually working on.
However, my information WAS accurate. The stock chain on a 750 is a 630.
Too bad that tidbit was useless in this case, but it was accurate.

Have to agree, seems too good to be true. Found no reviews on Caltric.
I passed on Caltric and bought a BikeMaster chain and JT sprockets for my recent CBR600 build.Last edited by Buffalo Bill; 08-06-2019, 05:00 PM.1982 GS1100G- road bike

Went ahead and purchased the set. Will be a while before I get them installed as I have to order tires also! I'll post an update when they get installed in a few weeks.

I’ve used caltric chains on the multiple GS’ I’ve owned over the years. Can’t speak to the longevity of the oring chain as I just installed one from caltric about a month ago on my gs750. My last (conventional) chain from caltric lasted about two years. Not bad for the price1978 Suzuki GS750
