    Looking for a seat

Anyone have an idea where I can get a new seat for a good price? I'd like to get my bike looking close to the original, as the previous owner stuck a GS750 seat on it, and it looks weird. There's also a big tear in it, so I have to replace it anyway.20190714_185901.jpg

Try eBay or even your local Craigslist.

Put a post in the Parts Wanted section would be a start.

Can't guarantee that seat is from a 750, but it has been a LONG time since I have seen a double-bucket seat on a 550.

Most here will not blame you at all for wanting to get rid of it, but some of us appreciate comfort, so we have actually sought out similar seats for our bikes.

Although you say you are wanting to return to an original look, have you ridden the bike to see if that seat is comfortable? It's possible that you might enjoy it enough to tolerate the non-original looks.
