Search "shim club". Also check Z1 Enterprises.

Both of these suggestions will come up if you try searching for answers to your questions.

Parts Outlaw is about 100 miles east of you. Z1 is 50 miles south of you. If you can travel to either one of those for less than the cost of shipping (don't forget to add whatever you feel your time is worth), you can go to their store and pick them up.

Parts Outlaw has $4.99 shipping. No way you are going to travel 200 miles (and spend at least 4 hours) for that amount.

I have not checked Z1's shipping rate, but it's free if you spend over $100. Still, even if it's $10, you would still be hard-pressed to spend less than $10 in gas (and just over two hours) for the trip to pick them up "free".

All that said, Z1 sells shims for less than $5. Parts Outlaw sells them for just under $12.
Check with the GSR Shim Club. I don't know what the current arrangements are there, but many members use it and speak highly of the service there.

This should really be made a sticky somewhere....

If you sell parts or provide services for GS series motorcycles, place a description of it in this forum.

I just sent Ray an email so hopefully he'll give us an update. It was certainly a great resource
