Not been used for years, they said, everything's stick-on these days.
Failing that, I've definitely seen them on ebay.---- Dave

looks like there are many different hammer on designs. How cool would it be to have some real Suzuki weights? The third pis is the OEM Suzuki weight. The others don't fit well enough to use but I am fiddling!

I pick up car-tire weights whenever I see them on the road side...(scounger!) I hack-saw them ... Indeed getting just the right weight is a bit of bother, but it's nice to have just one instead of a string of those gummy-jobs ... You can put the gummies on to find the weight, then balance them against a single.

The temporary fix is not to secure but will have to do till I can get some weights that fit right.

I've used beads several times, they seem to work just fine, no problems at all. but sure would like to have the old orig. wgts. back, that's just is what should be there.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100

I've done the ton on two rides with beads and had no issues. I don't find wheel weights particularly attractive, no one notices they're not on the bikes. The old oem weights I just tossed in the parts bin just in case.Last edited by wyly; 03-03-2020, 02:39 PM.1979 CBX, AW440 Maico, GS1150EF

20 gram and 10 gram OEM wheel weights are still available from Suzuki relatively cheap.
For example, on the '83 GS850G fiche at OnlineCycleParts.com:
Shop online for OEM Front Wheel parts that fit your 1983 Suzuki GS850G, search all our OEM Parts or call at 800-595-4063
BALANCER (20G)
55412-17G00
$4.50
BALANCER (10G)
55411-00A00-10V
$0.98
I have a stash of these built up over the years, but basically I pretty much always use stick-on weights.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
