    Hierarchy of GS 1000G Manual

    Hey everyone,
I'm getting a little tired of digging my phone out of my pocket every time I need to double-check a step when doing something to my 1980 GS1000G.

I just want to be sure here, the 1000G factory manual follows the regular "1000E/S/L" manual on bWringer's site with a supplement to cover the 1980s models right? Where do I get the supplement itself?

I see this guy on eBay selling the right manual, but with shipping from NZ it comes out to $72! I also tried taking the PDF I found on bWringer's site to staples and they quoted me $86 for a spiral bound.

    Any suggestions?

with those prices it's cheaper to buy a new printer,
hole puncher and binder and print them yourself ..

In my manual the supplement is the last chapter of that manual.

Thanks for the clarification LAB3. Rijko, you got that right. If only I could use the work printer, but I think even they might grumble if I printed 200+ pages double sided for free haha.

I printed and bound mine at work. But then I was the IT guy so no one said anything.

That's what I did. Very time intensive, what with resizing and double siding, and the end result is quite grainy.

Just print the bits you need when you need them.

There are large swathes of the FSM you'll never need, or where better information is now available.

Manual? We don' need no steenkin manual.

OK, yeah, I used the manual the first time, but after doing stuff a few times, even I learned what was needed.

Well... sometimes there are steps that I forget and having paper to reference would be cool. Can't just print the stuff out, I don't have a printer at home. I'll figure it out I guess.
