    Yours are very easy to modify, most everyone around our local bike shop trimmed the little plastic piece off to make them operate like the pre "78" models did. Someone knows for sure, but I'm reasonably sure the law that went in, in "78" made it where no street bikes were allowed to have OEM operating headlight switches. Not many "T"'s were sold in my area, Personally I liked the "T" quite a bit better than the "L".

      Yea I actually love the fact that I can turn the headlight off. Not that i will when riding of course. Specifically for the symptoms i was just experiencing. Starter getting a rattling from my right muffler this morning on a hard ride. I needed an excuse to replace them anyway. Went to go look at this beauty triumph down the road
