81 GS850GL piston ring help
Hey guys! Im in the process of rebuilding the top end of my engine. I am convinced my piston rings need replaced. I am seeing carbon buildup below the rings on the piston. I am wondering what piston rings i can buy without spending a fortune. I have only been able to find OEM suzuki piston rings that are $40 per set. Can anyone recommend a different set? Not looking for fancy, only for something that will do the job.Tags: None

Cruzinimage is definitely cheaper but don’t get rid of your old rings until after you install the cylinders. We had to reuse the old oil separator rings on Charmayne’s bike because the new ones from Cruzinimage didn’t seat rightCowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace
