fork diameters

hey, anyone know the fork diameter of a 78 GS550... cant find it on the web.
how about the diamter of a '03 GSXR600? i found a relatively cheap set, and i want to see if i can bolt them on without having to source the triples and *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$. also, does anyone know comparative length? thanks for looking!

GS550 are 33 mm I believe, GS750 35 mm and 1000 37 mm, for the 2-valve bikes. 03 600 are UPSD? Anyway MUCH bigger diameter then yours, and shorter in length.

so it would be more economical to find a front end with the trees too? or find the trees for the GSXR front end? or should i just keep my eyes peeled for a GSX 550 front end? would putting a shorter front end on the suzuki adversely affect the handling?

If you are looking for a late model front end it is best to get a complete setup.
The GS 550 & 750 are BOTH 35mm 550 forks are shorter than 750
gs 850/1000/1100? are 37mm
The gsxr 600 are ????? 43mm
