clutch grabbing

Ive had my clutch done on my GS750 B about 3000Km ago.

Ive done 2 oil changes since (and filters) because I thought it might be an oil issue.

Im using mobil1 20W50 non synthetic, and it states "SUITABLE FOR WET CLUTCH"

Ive noticed since I had my clutch done (they said they replaced the metals and fibres, as well as the springs) that if I blip the throttle in gear with the clutch held in, it will creep forward.

Ive ensured the clutch is adjusted correctly, and the cable is too, it has about 2mm free play in the lever as shown in the book.

any ideas?

Try switching to 10/40 oil

agjust the free play down to 1 to 1/2mm, on my bike I have to have almost no free play at all to get it to fully dis-engage, I also get thermal expansion in my new cable when the bike gets fully warmed up and the free play at the lever grows as it warms up. (darn cheep cable)

what kind of clutch plates were used?
highperformance clutches can be a pain and drag,I had race type carbon fiber metalic plates in mine and it always dragged, I hated it.
I now have a stock cork type clutch plates in it and am much happier.

THanks guys, will try the 10W40 as its cooling off here in Oz now!

Also unsure of the fibres used, metals were OEM suzuki but not sure of the fibres make or description.

mine does that too....I'll set my free play to 1.5 mm free play.

I'd probably use Mobil1 , but if its not synthetic the qualities should be roughly the same.
