I've had 3 different 4-1 headers on both my bikes. None could ever accomodate a center stand.Currently bikeless

Not sure about the case guards.
As to the center stand, on my S model, with the V&H 4>1, kept the center stand and am able to ge tthe oil and filter no problems.
I did lose access to the right side passenger peg  :twisted:Keith

My misunderstanding or is it different with every exhaust
By the way, that's a darned nice looking GS1100E. If it's for sale, I sure hope it goes to someone who would take good care of it....GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E

My bike has 4into1 V&H, I can change oil and filter no problem and didn't loose and passenger pegs. It didn't affect anything at all. But every bike/pipe combo is different. This is something to ask about when picking a pipe for your bike.
