    OT Yamaha Exhaust stud

I have managed to shear an ehaust stud on myt XJ so as it is flush with the head. I have tried drilling it but cannot seem to gain any headway into the stud itself. Has anyone managed to shift one of these? I managed to drill my Suzuki one but the Yamaha one seems to be made of tougher stuff (hardend Steel ???)

    give these a try http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/...44315&id=95958
screw fix is even in your neck of the woods so delivery should be fast and you don't have to worry about shipping and such.

Thanks Leon I will give the a try as I have an account with them already. I tried titanium bits but could not find any diamond bits today. I assume that the diamond bits are tougher than the titanium?

the ones I linked to are diamond ground, it did not say what they are made from but did say they work on harder metals.
diamonds are much harder than titanium.
carbide bits will do the job also.
