Bike worked this morning, now it doesnt!
Ok guys, i started the ol GS this morning, no problem. I decided i was gonna go ahead and paint the engine today. I taped everything off, took off the foot break, and started. I just finished and i tried to start it, but it will only start if i hold the throttle and keep it reved up a little. If i let it drop down to idle, it dies. I got a little paint on 1 of the spark plugs, but i took some sand paper and cleaned it off. Any ideas??Tags: None

Are you sure you didn't move anything else when you painted it? Did paint get into a carb vent somehow? Did you paint over the area where the spark plug grounds to the engine?

ok guys im a retard. The bike will run a lot better if you put the plug wires on where they are supposed to go.
