Egniter-Rebuild?

:? I could swear I saw quite a conversation on rebuilding igniter boxes on this site a while back!Now I can't find it!Please direct me to it!Maybe its time to do like the carb rebuild & show how its done?At close to $400 a pop w/suzuki(IF you can find them)-IT'S TIME!I tore into mine & it looks asthough anything on that little board could be replaced rather easily if you knew what was wrong & where to get components.I want to fix mine! :x

Rebuilding

Yes they can be fixed....I built one from scratch with just a schematic & the old one to start from. The old one was encased in that epoxy, I had to chip away the stuff to try to obtain tha values of the components. I'd swear they do this epoxy stuff so you are persuaded not to try to fix em . The schematic didn't have the values. You just need to find someone with electronics knowledge/training as I have & they really are a relatively simple device.
Anyone with this knowledge would make short work of an ignition box.
