Fifth blown igniter in 500 miles

    if you were near dayton oh i would have you pull the coils and igniter and bring them to my shop.
    i can ring them and make sure they have no shorted turns.
    what transitors did your unit have?
    iirc they are darlingtons.that is a pair of transistors in one device.

      Man, where in Dayton are you? I was raised in Fairborn and went to highschool in Huber Heights. Before we moved, we lived in Vandalia.

        i live in new lebanon.
        my shop is on poe av. and i do component level repairs for a computer store on n.dixie.
        too bad you moved away .
        midwest surplus at main & broad in fairborn has everything to completely rebuild that ignitor.

          Yep, know poe ave and N. Dixie very well.

          Well, it is too bad I moved away (sometimes) however, it's NOT my ignitor. 8)
