Does anybody use standard gas/oil line for their oil coolers

I have some armoured cable on order but put some regular stuff on. I am sure it i ok but because it is located at the front of the bike I can only picture an oily rear tire in the event of a leak. I know the pressure is low maybe I am a bit paranoid? What do you guys think or use?

You can use 5/16 transmission hose MUCH heaver & oil resistant

I have the stock 1150 lines on my bike. They don't look like much more than cooling line hose, where it is hose that is. They are mostly metal lines except where it passes the header.

I ride, therefore I am.... constantly buying new tires.

I use 3/8 transmision line on mine, like Lynn says, much stronger and will prolly outlast the bike. mine is routed behind teh airbox, up and along the frame just under the tank, to forward of the tank. Cost me about $20.00 for the line, and worth every cent.
