removing gas cap without key
Hello, I recently got my second bike (80 GS450L). It did not come with a key and I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on how to get the gas cap off?
Thanks in advanceTags: None

How do you plan to start it without a key?
I would get a key made from the ignition switch. I don't believe the cap will come off without destroying it.

thanks for the info everyone.
I am going to drill the cap and get a new one with a separate key, that's cheap enough...
as for the ignition i disassembled it for the first time tonight and I was surprised at how simple it was. give me 5 min with a small philips and a large flat screwdriver and i could take any 450L j/k
but yeah they are that simple
thanks again and party on!
