    Fuses on a 1980 750

Could someone tell me what each fuse rating is from top to bottom? The fuse box cover is gone and the fuses themselves are so old I can't read what is on them.

    Thank You

This is not certain on your 750, but it applies for my GS1100

    top fuse 10 amps
    2nd fuse 7.5 amps (signals)
    3rd and 4th 10 amps
fifth fuse 15 amps (main fuse)

From top to bottom on your 1980 750, the fuses are:
      15 amp Main
      10 amp HD lamps
      10 amp signal
      10 amp ignition

        But doesn't the '80 model have 5 fuses 4-10's and 1-15?

My 81 750 has a 15 for the main and the next 4 are all 10 AMP fuses -- 5 fuses in all.

            Re: Fuses on a 1980 750

All GS750's 1978 and earlier had a single main fuse. All 1979 and later had a four fuse panel (according to my book) I have a 79 750, and an 81, so I can verify that the info I gave is correct for those years. It is possible my book is in error for the 1980 750.

Okeee-dokeeee :-) Now I really dont understand. According to my book, you should have a four fuse panel.
I also have an 81 750 and it does have a four fuse panel.
(I just went out and looked to be sure I wasnt missing seeing something) Since I am reasonably sure Roger that you can accurately count to five, I am inclined to take your word for it. :-) This one beats the H... oughta me. LOL
maybe I owe Dan an apology here, I dont know.

It actually does have five fuses. Can I assume that there is one 15 and four 10's?
