replacement chain
hello everyone, i just purchased a 1978 suzuki gs750. it needs a new chain and sprocket set. could someone give me the specs for this so i can order? i think it's a 630 chain but not sure. thanks, and i'm relatively new to bikes, so i appreciate your help.Tags: None

calls for a 15/41 sprocket combo 630/96 links don't cheap out on the chain BUY a good X ring or O ring chain. & replace the sprockets SOme people do a conversion to 530 or 520 chain set

For what it's worth, here's what I spent on the conversion:
$100 for the chain (RK 530XSO 120 link) + $12 shipping (eBay)
$59 for sprockets (JT 17 front, 43 rear and spacer) + $6 shipping (BikeBandit)

thanks for the info, now i've got a good idea of how to go about this. i'll let you know how it all goes.
