Problem,Help, Cylinder No. #2 is not firing????

    Hi, I recently purchased a GS 550L 82'
I'm begginer in biking so for me the bike was running good when I buy it.
After 2 weeks of riding and some motorcycle cleaning I've noticed that cilynder #2 doesn't heat up like others 1,3,4.
Actually the header pipe on #2 cylinder doesnt heat up after idling in place for 10 minutes, while in same time the others are already warm...
After driving it for 10-15 minutes , the header pipe on #2 cylinder is warm but you can still touch it with your hand while the others are very warm...
There is a spark on #2 cylinder wire, so I guess coil is OK..
But the sprak plug is wet ... but also warm...????
Changed the spark plug with one from other cylinder and it's still the same..

    What to do next ????
Shoud I remove back pipe to check if there is a warm exhaust gases on second header pipe???

    Please help..
I've already ordered Clymer manual from CycleRecycle but since I'm in East Europe it will be here in 2-3 weeks at least..
And the mehanics already rip me off ....for some oil leaking and it still leaks on the bottom a little bit..

Replace the spark plug, remove & plug the vacuum line to the petcock (it hooks up to the #2 carb), operate it on the prime position & see what happens

Yes I found intake boot on cylinder #2 was worn and leaking air ...
Also I found out at the end of the summer that my compression is a way too low(around 100psi on all cylinders).....rebuild is in progress...

What's learned..??? Always buy used bike with someone who is high milleage biker and good in mechanics too...
But any way I'll have 100% repaired bike until the end of February...
And a lot of expirience in GS troubleshoting...
