    Battery Setup

I bought a new battery on the internet and it comes dry. What kind of acid or fluid should I pour in? Where can I buy it?
    Thanks for amy help

Normally a new battery comes with the acid to add. I would check around at auto parts stores, or battery stores, or even Sears Automotive and see if they have any suggestions. I think the type and concentration of the acid is pretty standard for all lead-acid batteries, it should just be a matter of getting some without the battery. Good luck.

Is it a sealed battery ?? It should have come with the battery acid It could be a shipping restriction

Just got into the same thing last week. Both Auto Zone & Advanced Auto Parts had a 32 oz. bottle, for $3.95.

          It's a common battery , not sealed

Comes dry. No acid. The last time I bought one I had to take it to a closeby shop to prepare it (acid+charge)

Personally, I'd take it back and go get a Diehard. The Sears battery comes with fluid, nice long new vent hose, and instructions. Including how much to charge and how long.

My battery came with all charging & maintenance paper work, only thing missing was the acid. The acid from Advanced Auto Parts was identical to what comes with a motorcycle. even has the snip off spout & little hose to fill a motorcycle battery with.
