    GS 1150 Bar ends

:? Needed a set of stock bar ends to help with vibrations at highway speeds. The bike I purchase had some nice anodized light weight ones. Have not been able to locate on ebay and was wondering if the stock screw-on type that fit the Hayabusa would work? They are large and heavy like the stock GS1150 bar ends.

    Thanks - Mike

You can still get them from www.alpha-sports.com or www.bikebandit.com . My GS550 needed them, and I ordered the GS700 ones for it because they are heavier than the 550 and 1150 bar ends, yet still have the "stock 1985 Suzuki " look.

When ordering, don't be confused. There were at least two different ones. Some had a threaded hole in the end of the bar, & a screw went thru the weight & screwed into the threaded hole. Others have a hollow bar and a rubber expansion plug went in the end of the bar & a screw made the rubber plug expand inside the bar to make it tight. Also the "84" GS1150 weights were lighter than the later ones
