    where to get shocks?

where is the best place to get shocks that will bolt up like oem shocks. I want them to perform at least as good and I want the supplier to be reliable. Oh, and it would help to be a value for money deal.
    Thanks,
    Chris

          The junkyard for me.

Best value would be Progressive Suspension:

Better performance, but higher price - Ikon (I have these on my 1100):
Fitting & Adjustment Instructions for Ikon Stereodampers Type 7610 and 7614.For further Shock Absorber Specifications please see view

Excellent performance, very high price - Ohlins:

Best performance, very high price - Penske:

If you're looking to do it on the cheap, them here are some at Cycle Recycle imported by EMGO for $90. Brand new, chrome or black.

These are not going to ride like progressives, ikons or ohlins, but you get what you pay for!

Question: is it true that Ikon is the same manufacturere as "Koni"?
And Koni changed the name for some reason?

No they got out of motorcycles, so they sold the right's, tech info etc.
But the Ikon's are the same quality.
