bike from storage won't start
I am trying to start a bike that has been in storage for about 2 years it is a 1988 gsx 600 katana I bought a new battery added some gas checked the oil and other fluid levels they are ok. THe bike would start and run under full choke for a while now it will not start. I will turn over and sputter while the start button is being pushed but will not start and tips or ideas would be appreciated. I did check to make sure it was getting gas and it is. I think it could be the carb is clogged.Tags: None

Dirty carbs seem to be a normal thing for these that have stored for even as long as a year.
Mine was only sitting for a year and I had to pull and clean the carbs.
Make sure you sync them when you put them back on.

Check your plugs.....see if they aren't maybe all fouled up! If they are, replace the plugs and try again with not quite as much choke.Frosty (falsely accused of "Thread-Hijacking"!)
