    Cases

    I have a set of cases that i need to have welded.I talk to a welder about welding it and he ask me how much magnesium they have in them.Just wondered if anyone knows?

        Well, there aluminum cases......

          i wouldnt jb them unless i had no other altermnative, welding- im pretty sure there aluminum alloy, no magnesium in them, un like some dirt bike cases
          i have welded aluminum d b cases , prep it weld it finish propperly ,and you might not ever know they were welded
          or find someone cool on ebay and get different set,

              From everything I have read, heard or seen this is a pretty easy way to go. Requires an accetelyne torch for a engine case.
