    Firing Order-'81 GS1100E

Question regarding firing order on the bike. Is it firing 1 and 4, then 2 and 3 and so on (like an even fire engine, sparking 2 cylinders at a time). Or is it splitting up the cylinders? Thanks for any input

    Yes, 1&4 fire together

1 & 4 cylinders fire 180 deg apart for the power stroke. WIth the ign system the plug fires twice one is wasted. fires 1,2,4,3
