I WANT TO GET NEW PLUGS FOR MY 79 GS750L. SHOULD I GET LIKE SOME PLATINUM OR SPECIAL PLUGS FOR IT, MAYBE SPLITFIRE. OR SHOULD I JUST REPLACE IT WITH THE REGULAR B8ES NGK'S?

There is nothing to be gained in my experience between the standard NGK B8ES for that bike and the $50 a set iridium plugs. Dont waste your money.

Yup, just use the standard plugs. The exotic materials and shapes are a complete waste of money in a GS.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.

Yup. I ran a set of iridium plugs in last year, and they ran clean for ....about 15000km. I've got stock plugs now, show the same amount of stuff after 6, but they are much cheaper, so I just replace them.Originally posted by scottyComment
