Sidestand warning light question

In this picture, can anyone tell me where on the sidestand the spring #24 connects to? My spring is missing. Thanks!

Goes from the switch to the kickstand itself, doesn't it ? If the switch is mounted down by the kicker, there should be a corresponding lug on the stand, I think. I'll have a look on the bike in the morning.

I'm assuming it goes to somewhere on the stand but I didn't see an obvious spot for it. I don't know how long the spring is supposed to be either so it's hard to judge. Thanks!

On my cycle, there is a little nub on the side stand that the spring hooks to. maybe yours broke off...

I think it is the same location that the side stand return spring hooks to. There should be a place for the spring that holds the stand out of the way to hook on to.
